About Kyle

A Unique Perspective from Both Sides of the Table

My journey in entertainment has given me a rare vantage point. I've worked as a performer, a casting professional, a production manager, and now as a coach. This multifaceted experience shapes everything I do.

Kyle Allen Nichols

The Beginning

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where I began performing on stage at just six years old. Theater became my first love, and I spent my childhood and teenage years honing my craft through regional and national touring productions.

My college experience began outside of Los Angeles at Pepperdine University, where I studied musical theater. After transferring to Georgia State University, I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Communications and Theater, with an emphasis on television, radio broadcast journalism, and musical theater performance.

The Casting Years

After graduating, I was taken under the wing of casting director Shay Bentley-Griffin at Chez Casting, where I spent four years as a Casting Associate. During this time, I worked on major studio productions and collaborated with some of the industry's most respected directors and producers.

This experience fundamentally changed my perspective. I moved from being on the audition side of the table to understanding what casting professionals truly look for. I learned how to read a room, how to present material effectively, and what separates good auditions from great ones.

Production & Entertainment

After missing the live entertainment world, I moved to Orlando and began exploring film and television production with Walt Disney World. The experience was invaluable, and I supported major marketing campaigns, coordinated press events, and worked with creative services and park leadership.

I joined Universal Studios to produce Entertainment and Events at CityWalk, where I managed complex productions, coordinated with creative teams, and brought entertainment experiences to life for millions of guests. I designed experiential activations, managed logistics, and received the NBCUniversal GEM Award for my contributions.

Today, I also manage large-scale project installations across Central Florida for major venues including Walt Disney World, Orlando International Airport, and Universal Studios. I oversee 100+ installations annually, coordinate with vendors and clients, and implement quality control processes that maximize efficiency and precision.

I leverage all of these experiences to help others succeed and to deliver exceptional results for my clients.

Beyond the Industry

When I'm not working with performers or managing productions, you'll find me spending time with my two boys—Tucker and Asher, adorable geriatric dachshunds—and my husband, Corey, who I've been with for 13 years.

I'm a passionate fan of Julie Andrews, Carol Burnett, Ina Garten, and RuPaul's Drag Race. I love home décor, DIY projects, and creating beautiful spaces. I'm also a strong soprano falsetto vocalist with over 10 years of piano experience, and I enjoy cooking and long-distance running.

I'm local to Orlando and frequently travel to be with immediate family throughout the Atlanta area. I look forward to using my unique background of experiences on "both sides of the table" to help you succeed in your entertainment career.

Recognized by Industry Icons

My creative eye and passion for entertainment have caught the attention of legendary figures in the industry. Here are some of those incredible moments.

Bob Mackie - Legendary Costume Designer

I created a timelapse video of my husband Corey's beautiful hand-drawn interpretation of the iconic Gone with the Wind dress designed by Bob Mackie. When I shared it on Instagram, Bob himself noticed it and featured it on his story! The moment was surreal—a costume design legend validating my creative vision.

Even more incredible, I later got to meet Bob in person. We had a wonderful conversation, and he signed a sketch for me that now holds a special place in my home. It's a reminder that passion and creativity can bridge any gap in the industry.

Jon M. Chu - Wicked Movie Director

For Halloween, I designed and built an elaborate Wicked-themed yard decoration featuring the iconic emerald city aesthetic. I posted it on Instagram, and Jon M. Chu—the director of the Wicked movie—saw it and loved it so much that he reached out directly.

He messaged me asking to tag him so he could share it with his 419K followers. That moment felt like validation that my creative work resonates with industry professionals at the highest level. It's one thing to be inspired by these filmmakers; it's another to have them celebrate your work.

Sir Elton John - Music Icon

For Halloween, I created a homemade costume inspired by the iconic Yellow Brick Road album cover by Elton John. I posted it on Instagram, and to my absolute amazement, Sir Elton John himself reposted it on his story!

This was a full-circle moment for me. Growing up, I was inspired by Elton's artistry, creativity, and fearless self-expression. To have him recognize and celebrate my creative interpretation of his work was truly one of the most surreal moments of my life.
